My journey to creating Mindfulness with Meg began not in a studio, but in the everyday moments of my own life. As a mother of four and a woman who has navigated the complexities of divorce, I understand that life's most challenging chapters of life can also be the most transformative. My professional life started in the corporate world, helping to create global knowledge networks for companies like Gemini Consulting and Fidelity Investments. While I found success there, a part of me felt called to a different path—one that connected me more deeply to people and their well-being. That calling led me to yoga and mindfulness. The practice became my personal sanctuary, a place to find calm and resilience amidst life’s inevitable storms. I quickly realized that the tools that helped me heal—breathing, movement, and self-awareness—could also help others. I became a certified yoga therapist and hold the highest certification for adult and child yoga instruction (E-RYT 500 and RCYT). I’ve also had the privilege of studying with luminaries like Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of MBSR.
For the past 16 years, I have been dedicated to sharing these powerful practices with children and adults. I have taught thousands of children through my curriculum that focuses on life skills like self-regulation, balance, and self-awareness. My work has taken me to homes, schools, hospitals, and community centers. I've also had the honor of teaching at Harvard University and Lesley University, where I speak to graduate students about mindfulness as an alternative therapy and presented material at several national conferences about yoga and mindfulness.
My true passion lies in helping children and families navigate difficult mental or physical conditions, including topics of divorce, stress and anxiety, autoimmune diseases and grief. Having walked these paths myself, I know how essential it is to create a safe space for healing and growth. Through my group classes, workshops, and individual yoga therapy, I offer ways to understand the power of the mind, body and breath connection to restore both physical and mental equilibrium. My goal is to empower clients with the tools they need to feel grounded and secure, no matter what changes life brings.
I believe that mindfulness is more than just an activity; it’s a way of being. It’s about meeting each moment with kindness and presence. I am here to guide you and your family on this journey, helping you find a sense of peace, resilience, and joy.
